They are dependent on Lions clubs to sponsor and initiate a Leo club . Leo Club members are addressed as LEOS . They conduct various projects in the fields of health care elders ,children , disabled people , literacy and education and self development . About Lion's and Leo's LCI
Lions Clubs International is non political service organization established originally in 1917 in Chicago, illinois , by Melvin Jones . It now headquarter in Oak Brooks Illinois . As of june 2018 , it had over 46000 local clubs and more than 1.7 million member (lions and leo ) in 190 contries around the world .An international services organization under the guidance and surpervision of the Secertary ,MelvinJones. The first Leo club was founded in 1957 by Jim Graver , the coach of the Abington High school , Pennsylvania baseball team . He qas an active member of the Glenside Lions Club . The club also create the acronym leadership , equality , opportunity for the word leo . The word equality was kater changed to experience . By the 1967 the program has grown over to 200 club in 18 countries and became the official youth program of lions clubs international.

In the following leo club has spread raidly more the quadrupling in size to 918 club of the countries by the end of 1968. Installation Day This CLub has of been under the parents Club Lions Club of Ahemdabad Star of Star was installed on Thursday, 16th August,2018 at Hotel Silver Cloud, Ahmedabad. The 1st Installed President of the club was Romil Golchha with his Team. The club was Installed by Lion Sunilji Gugaliya and Inaugrated by Lion Sanjeevji Chhajer. VISION To Create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world. To Promote the principles of good government and good citizenship. To Take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community. MISSION To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. To be the global leader in community and humanitarian service.
